We look

straight in the eye

The ambition of the NewMedia Centre (NMC) of TU Delft is to aim for first quality multimedia products commissioned by you. We’ll try to get you in your comfort-zone in our green screen studio to create a world class video in cooperation with you, to be published for a worldwide audience. And when you need an animation to get your message across, we go any length to create what you deserve.

We – the crew of NMC – are fully convinced that multimedia will play an increasing role in the future of education, research and communication, especially since COVID 19.
If you feel the same way, you’re at the right place. In fact, it’s noticeable in our studio’s everyday: design, production of video, animations and graphics have become daily business.

That is our contribution in
shaping the next-generation university.

NewMedia Centre & Covid-19

22/10/2020

  • Visitors to our office and studio are requested to wear a face mask.
  • One of our Do-it-yourself mini Studio’s can be booked, but only under strict conditions.
  • The large studio will be open, but only for two visitors at a time. If more visitors need to be in the studio, they will have to wait outside our office.

Due to stricter Covid measures, the staffing of the NewMedia Centre on campus is lower than normally. That is why we need to divide our capacity wisely:

  • In the next two weeks (until November 6th) we will not be able to take on more ‘on location’ recordings;
  • New studio recording requests will be postponed to November 9th onwards. We realize this can be very inconvenient, but unfortunately we cannot be at the office in full force.

Our team is still available to produce your content (such as video, animations, infographics, graphical abstracts, posters):
If you need support or have a question please contact us: fill out the form. Usually we answer quite quickly. Of course you can also phone us.

Service model

Stress-free. Of course, you stay in-charge. But, we feel responsible, will do the work and consult to your wishes! The TU Delft web lecture service “Collegerama” is a good example. Just give us your schedule, we’ll organize, capture and publish.

In co-creation. The mix with your talent and knowhow adds-up the value. We love to collaborate in co-creation. This method works out very positive in case of innovations like MOOCs. To translate new didactical scenarios into online course formats, for example.

We installed a do-it-yourself-studio for you. This facility is at your disposal to produce your own online presentation at your own time. According to the Plug & Play principle. With just a few buttons to operate, so a technician is not needed. There is a step-by-step tutorial available to quickly master some principles and off you go! Of course we’ll be there to help out, when needed. And yes: the final outcome is totally your responsibility.
