Most educational videos we produce are commissioned by the Online Learning department of TU Delft and used in MOOCs, ProfEd’s or MicroMasters.
Our video production for education offers the use of a high-end green screen studio, where you will be guided by our professional team to deliver a topnotch video to use in your online course.
If shooting video on location has more didactic value, we pack all our gear and come your way.
During a detailed intake session, we’ll exchange your ideas with ours. About what your intentions are, what we can do for you and how to translate your scenario into a video format.
About the costs: normally, a video publication with educative purposes will be paid by university fundings, however there will be exceptions.
To produce an online course is a very time consuming job. For your and our convenience we offer you a Powerpoint template, dedicated for online courses, which you can download by pressing the button below. We strongly recommend to use this template.
When finished editing please send it to our office manager Marleen van Amerongen. She will give you feedback about it’s applicability in an online course. Again; please realize that it takes time to produce a decent presentation.
In order to work as efficiently as possible, our advice is to send Marleen your presentation well in advance before the recording session takes place (at least one week), because our crew needs time to enhance the file if needed.
If you decide to use 3rd party typefaces in your presentation you are responsible for providing us a legal and working copy (for Mac).
You would like to present an invention or new product of your department, or you would like to inform people about an upcoming event or have anything that needs to be brought to the attention.
For example: Your department has planned a MOOC and would like to publish a teaser on the EdX platform. NewMedia Centre now has a wealth of experience in this kind of teasers and is eager to take part in your plans!
Although the line between the terms informational and promotional is not always clear there could be a nuance.
Your department developed a new way of distributing electrical energy. You are planning to join a pitch in order to get development money from a fund in order to finetune your findings. The idea is to send in a video to the funding committee to explain your findings. The story is quite complex, and you would like to explore the possibilities. Will a short teaser presenting some recordings on location take effect or is an animation needed?
